To cover the day-to-day running of your scheme and all the services and benefits we provide to you and your employees, you will be charged monthly at £22.00 plus VAT, and your employees will pay a small fee of £1.95 a month as well as a 0.4% charge on their investment.

By submitting an application to join the scheme, you agree to the monthly charge of £22.00 plus VAT. Your first monthly charge will be calculated on a pro-rata basis from the date you submit your application (by clicking the button below) until the end of that month. We will collect this initial charge in arrear on the 1st day of the following month. Thereafter, the full monthly charge will be automatically collected in arrears on the 1st day of each month.

To use your employer account, you will need to set up a Direct Debit mandate, which you can do via your account.

Payment should be made to Smart Pension by Direct Debit. We only accept payments via Direct Debit from UK-based bank accounts using British pounds (£) as their currency.

If you don’t have a UK bank account, what payment solutions are available?

Your employees will be charged a 0.4% Total Expense Ratio (the total investment cost) for the Smart Sustainable Growth Fund. This investment cost could change if they select a different fund or funds. They will also be charged a small monthly fee of £1.95 unless their combined pension savings are £100 or less.
